Matt Haig - The Midnight Library

We are a big fan of Matt Haig and were thrilled with his new novel, devouring it within three days!

This is what it's about:

Nora's life continues to spiral downward. Then, at midnight, on her last day on earth, she finds herself in a library. There, she is given the chance to reverse her regrets and try out every other life she could have lived. Which raises the ultimate question: What is the best way to live when you have infinite possibilities?

Svenja GrÀfen - Radical Self-Care. Now!: A Feminist Perspective

cĂ©lv is all about self-love and self-care, so the title of the book speaks for itself. The book gave us new food for thought and reinforced our values of banishing self-optimization from our lives and loving ourselves.

Sally Rooney - Normal People

We actually became aware of Normal People through the series and after we finished it in tears we had to get the book straight away!
The main characters, Connell and Marianne, grow up in the same small town in western Ireland, but that's where their similarities end. At school, Connell is popular and well-liked, while Marianne is a loner. But when the two start talking, something life-changing begins. Normal People is a story about mutual fascination, friendship, and love.

Billy Chapata - Flowers on the moon

Billy Chapata shares insights into the world of love, heartbreak, and what comes after. This collection of poetry and prose inspires strength and survival. The lyrics fill us with hope for growth and, above all, self-love.

Adam Silvera - In the end we die anyway

This book brought us many laughs and tears. A slightly different love story about life, loss, and how every day counts. On September 5th, shortly after midnight, Death calls Mateo Torrez and Rufus Emeterio with bad news: They will die today. Mateo and Rufus are complete strangers, but for different reasons, they are both looking for a new friend on their final day. The good news: There's an app for that. It's called "The Last Friend," and through it, Rufus and Mateo will meet for one last great adventure—to live an entire life in a single day.

Emma Gannon - Olive

As her best friends' lives diverge toward marriage and motherhood, and she leaves their shared path, she begins to question her decisions—because life after Olive looks a little different. Movingly honest and a mirror for anyone at a crossroads, we all somehow have a little bit of Olive in us.

Eckhart Tolle - A New Earth

A few years ago, we read Now! by Eckhart Tolle and loved it (if you haven't read it yet, you should definitely put it on your list).

In his new book he provides new incentives:

  • To understand yourself better
  • To manage, manifest and achieve goals
  • Transforming conflicts into something positive
  • Changing negative habits
  • To live in the moment
